A multi-scale modeling method is proposed for analyzing wireless power transfer (WPT) systems. Utilizing hybrid system theory and mechanism modeling theory, a two-scale model is built for a WPT system with series tuned primary and secondary sides. Both the circuit-level evolution mechanism and component-level dynamic switching process can be analyzed clearly and efficiently. Simulation results have verified the validation of the proposed method.
